I was California born and raised but after 5 yrs on the Oregon coast I have learn to embrace the rainy days. I would be lying if I said I loved it , but my love to create on these days has help so much.
Today, I am working on Stone Owls which is a project from my online class with #alisakburke. This project was from day two and we are on day 18 but the few that I previously did found homes before I could snap a photo of them. I love these little guys because each feels like cheating. I just follow the stone and the owls come alive in my hand. I love owls and their regal aura they give off, but I wouldn't say I have master drawing their form yet. When you look at each one I have captures different species of the owl family. I love the way this project is speaking to me. My stone Owls are now my guardian Owls. Okay the California hippy is coming out, but seriously I hear these guardians come to life ready to share their love and light to the lucky recipient. I will be their happy channel giving birth to them with my heart and hands.
Thank you Alisa these guys are here to stay and will be apart of the Crafty Owl Mama's creations.
So yes, I will be walking to work in an hour but you know I will be searching for more stones to join my owl guardian family. My biggest supporter (Lucas my husband) say he loves Mexirican ingenuity because it saves on holiday gifts. I have to remind him it's creativity, if not he calls all my crafty endeavors Mexirican ingenuity. I will post pictures tonight when I get off and they have finish drying.
Thanks for stopping by and remember to always walk in love and light my crafties.
Stay crafty!
